Si Yu’os Ma’åse’ to our amazing ⭐️Star Readers—Emaly Weaver, Reanna Sulla, Amber Ritter-Cruz, Renee-Lynn Sanchez, Jaclyn Dela Cruz, Grace Nasis Claros, and Estella Saloma-Magbitang—⭐️for filling our D204 Lions Clubs Christmas Saturday Story Time with warmth, imagination, and holiday cheer on December 6, 2025.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Lions International D204 District Governor Ron Hidalgo for sharing his uplifting Christmas message and highlighting the true importance and lifelong joy of reading. He also gifted each participant a special coloring book with crayons, ensuring the love of reading and art continues long after the event.

We also extend our warmest thanks to the Guahan Isan Famagu’on Leos for leading the fun and festive Christmas arts and crafts activities! The children had an amazing time enjoying the engaging stories, sweet treats, songs, and lively dancing.

Roaring for Reading: A Celebration of Stories and Service

The Read-Aloud Session at Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, hosted by the Saipan Dynamic Lions Club and Saipan Cubs Alpha Leos Club, was more than just a gathering—it was a celebration of service, unity, and the magic of storytelling. Together, we helped spark imagination and inspire the young minds of our community.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to DG Ron Hidalgo, PMJF, Emily Cabrera, Lion Carolina (SDLC), Leo-Lion Francine Ebuen (SULC), and Leo-Lion Jay Zamoranos, MJF (LUFLC) for sharing stories with such passion and joy.

We also acknowledge the presence and support of Lion Lady Lota Hidalgo, FVDG Eden Mercado (SFALC), RC Alice Barbo (SULAC), and Prexy Angel Lastimado (SULC)—thank you for standing with us in service.

A very special thank you to the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library for your unwavering collaboration and support. Your partnership made this meaningful initiative possible and truly impactful for the children we serve.

Together, we created moments of learning, laughter, and connection—memories the children will carry with them long after the books are closed.
