The D204 Lions Club October Fest Saturday Story Hour, in partnership with the Guam Public Library and the Guam International Literacy Association, that was held October 2, 2021 via Zoom was a success! Si Yu'os Ma'ase' to UOG-SOE Alumni Association President Martha Sudo, Vanessa Robert, and Barbara Leon Guerrero Godoy, for conducting Read Alouds, along with celebrity reader, Marc Maron, whose Read Aloud was shared via video. A special Awesome Day song composed by Jack Hartmann was also sung. We further thank our amazing audience of children & their families, including D204 FVDG Loisa Cabuhat, PDG Fely Angel, Saipan Unity Lions Club, Guam Public Library Director Kris Seerengan, Guam Public Library System Board member Nicole Nelson, ILA Board members Mae Mendiola and Tina Buendicho, Lion Officers, Leos, Cubs & members from Regions 1 & 2, for joining this special reading event. Congratulations also to the winners of the books that were given out to those who correctly answered questions relating to the stories!
